A New Year, A Better You!

The start of a new year is the perfect opportunity to take stock of your life and to recognize areas that might be keeping you from being your best self. Questions like, "When was the last time I had my hearing checked?" can help to uncover ignored or potential issues. Hearing loss, even mild hearing loss, may have unknowingly crept into your life. Hearing is the one sense in which the diminishing of it is often difficult for the person with the problem to recognize. Which is why so many people will ask, "What?" or "Huh?" without ever understanding that it wasn't the speaker but the listener with the problem. Respect your hearing by having an annual hearing exam, use hearing aids when their is a problem, and your ears will help keep you healthy and tuned in for life!
